Notes

Nestled to the west of the famous Cap d’Antibes, the seaside resort of Juan-les-Pins reflects the gentle atmosphere of the Riviera.

This small, popular town on the Côte d'Azur is home to many luxurious homes: the palaces, villas and luxury hotels face the Mediterranean and gardens emitting delicious Provençal scents.

We can still see what this immense pine forest bordering fine sandy beaches might have been before transforming into a mythical seaside town frequented by the artistic elite over the ages.Today you can still enjoy its beautiful golden sand beaches or the privacy of its charming little coves. It is obviously appropriate to immerse yourself in the Juana frenzy: nightclubs, casinos and nightlife shops make it a paradise for night owls flocking to the bars located by the sea.

Neighbourhood

ANTIBES Located on the French Riviera between Nice and Cannes, the old town of Antibes borders the Big Blue and competes in colors. The latter are particularly sublimated in the free commune of Safranier: the cream facades are bordered by lush vegetation available in a vast palette of pink, yellow, green, red, purple... This part of old Antibes, surrounded by ramparts, offers beautiful perspectives of walks between the calm and shaded streets, dotted with Provençal shutters.

CANNES The city of Cannes is known worldwide as a bastion of the 7th art, where the famous international film festival takes place every year in May, whose reputation goes beyond borders. It is housed within the Palais des Festivals, recognizable by its contemporary architecture covered in white and glass and its unmissable vermilion red carpet steps, used by celebrities from around the world.

THE ISLANDS OF LÉRINS The Lérins Islands offer a peaceful getaway, about thirty minutes from the Croisette and its luxurious buildings. This archipelago emerging from azure waters skilfully combines a natural, architectural and gastronomic heritage, respectively anchored in the heart of a centuries-old historical heritage. The smallest island of Lérins is that of Saint-Honorat, founded in the 5th century by a monastic community and still owned by it today. The monks live in a 16-century-old abbey, whose magnificent stone robe nestles in the middle of the vines. The main activity of this Cistercian community is indeed the production of wine within an area of 8 hectares dotted with thousand-year-old olive trees. About 30,000 bottles are marketed each year, made from grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Syrah or Clairette. It is possible to spend a day or stay longer in this enchanting place, where whispers echo the sound of cicadas: a most soothing setting.

NICE A popular destination for tourists from all over the world, the capital of the Côte d'Azur nestles between the Big Blue and the surrounding mountains, sometimes draped in white, sometimes carpeted in intense green. Along the sea is the famous Promenade des Anglais, a prestigious avenue where palm trees line pretty Haussmann houses and sumptuous Belle Époque hotels, such as the Negresco or the Westminster. We settle on one of the many terraces facing the immense azure expanse of the Mediterranean or directly on its pebble beaches forming a shades of gray and blue. The most athletic will benefit from the road laid out for cyclists or rollerbladers.

SAINT-PAUL-DE-VENCE This charming village perched between the Col de Vence and the Mediterranean offers magnificent panoramas to its visitors. On the sea side, the unobstructed view stretches as far as Cap d'Antibes: a picture that inspired more than one painter charmed by these Provençal colours. Modigliani, Matisse, Soutine or even Utrillo were seduced by the light of this medieval city and placed these impregnable viewpoints on their easels. At the entrance to the village, in the shade of tall plane trees, the famous boules square, immortalized by the petanque games of Lino Ventura and Yves Montand, remains a must.

MONACO Clinging to the mountainside, the Principality of Monaco and its illustrious rock enjoy a reputation that extends beyond the borders. Nestled between Italy, to the east, and France, to the west and north, Monaco has a meager area of 2 km². With its 37,000 inhabitants, the principality thus has one of the highest densities in the world! Nothing surprising in view of its exceptional geographical location, its feet buried in the Mediterranean, and its luxurious dwellings surrounded by the steep rock.
